This Privacy Policy describes how Rizzl ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rizzl mobile application (the "Service"). Rizzl is a dating application. The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

We do not collect Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). Where third-party SDKs in our app collect device-level signals, they do so without using IDFA.
Some of the information you provide — specifically your gender, gender preferences (which may indicate sexual orientation), and date of birth — may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable privacy laws (including the GDPR and CCPA). You provide this information voluntarily, and we use it solely to operate the Service: to allow other users to view your profile, to filter and rank potential matches, and to verify that you meet the minimum age requirement.
We do not sell or share sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We run advertising campaigns to acquire new users, including campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure the effectiveness of those campaigns, our app uses the Facebook SDK to send Meta a limited set of events, including:
These events are used by Meta to attribute installs and registrations to the ads that drove them. We do not send your name, email address, account identifier, or message content to Meta.
Because we do not collect IDFA, attribution from Meta is performed through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework. SKAdNetwork is designed to provide aggregate, delayed, and anonymized attribution information without exposing individual users.
We also use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required by law to retain certain information (for example, for security investigations or to comply with legal obligations). Backup systems may retain copies for a limited period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our backend services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Rizzl operates from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in any other country where our service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with information, please contact us at support@rizzl.app and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
